Methotrexate users may have a reduced immune response to mRNA COVID-19 vaccine, study suggests

Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine induced adequate antibody levels in up to a third fewer patients on methotrexate, when compared with healthy participants and patients with immune-mediated inflammatory diseases on other immunomodulatory drugs, according to the small study.
