Housebound people being missed for vaccination, NHS warned
People who need to receive their COVID vaccinations at home are missing out because their eligibility is not being recognised by GPs, experts have warned.

It is not uncommon to visit a patient for a vaccination who has been listed as housebound only to find that they are not in as they have popped out. The definition of housebound needs to be much tighter as many patients are able to make secondary care appointments if needed.
