I suspect that the Covid pandemic has changed many spheres of healthcare. Primary care is one aspect that will be changed. There are definitely areas that we can work to become more efficient. Video consulting has taken off- it will offer a service to some groups of patients- the patient selection issue is key as telephone may suffice for many transactional issues. The key for me is if we can maintain the capacity to allow us to deliver longer consultations for those who are most in need of these without the demand ramifications.
