News
OnMedica news is independently written by our team of medical journalists. Our news is written daily and covers all the key issues in primary care in the UK. The news section on the App lists news articles for the last month.
5-a-day
The OnMedica 5-a-day programme provides innovative bite-sized CPD to our members. Offering 5 questions each day around a particular case or topic, with detailed feedback on each question, our 5-a-day programme enables users to test and refresh their knowledge daily. Each issue offers the ability to claim for one appraisal credit via the OnMedica PDP tracker.
ODR (OnMedica Drug Reference)
The ODR section is a drug reference database for busy healthcare professionals, that is updated monthly. The ODR contains information on dose, indication, pack size, price, drug interactions and adverse drug reactions. Symbols and icons are used to highlight information on prescribing in pregnancy, breastfeeding, liver and kidney disease and drugs in sport.
How much does it cost?
The OnMedica App is free to download from iTunes and gives you instant access to the App for 7 days
. Continuous access is granted at no extra cost once registration to OnMedica has been completed. After 7 days you will be prompted to register or login
using your OnMedica username and password*.
The ODR database is available for free for 31 days after registration is complete. After this time you will need take out a subscription to maintain access. Please note that as a registered OnMedica member you will have access to this database at a reduced rate. Subscriptions can be made for one month (£0.69), 6 months (£2.99) or 12 months (£4.99).
* Users already registered with OnMedica will not need to register again.
