Change does not mean progress
My medical interests are eclectic, my views are capricious. Above my desk
there is a sign that reads' 'Change does not always mean progress'. My
skepticism is usually (but not always) healthy, and it may well be that my
disinclination to engage with the political initiative of the day has
hindered my career. I rather think I would be a much better leader of the
opposition than a prime minister though I suspect that I have by now missed
the opportunity for a career in the House of Commons - and, despite the
rewards of the new consultant contract, I don't even have enough cash to
buy a peerage. Perhaps I should try cyber-journalism to give voice to my
contrarian views.
